SEMPATAP ‘A’ PRIMER Aqueous-based primer for absorbent surfaces.

Use for pre-treating bare and highly absorbent surfaces, such as plaster, plaster-boards, plywood, particle board, brick, concrete, cement screeds, wood, etc. prior to the installation of SEMPATAP and SEMPAFLOOR.

APPLICATION: All surfaces must be dry, firm and free from grease and oil. Stir thoroughly before use. Apply evenly with brush or roller or suitable spray. Avoid the formation of pools/puddles on uneven surfaces.

DRYING TIME: Approximately 1-2 hours depending on porosity of the substrate and room temperature. When wet, SEMPATAP ‘A’ PRIMER can be cleaned from surfaces with warm water.

CLEANING: Tools and equipment may be cleaned with warm water and detergent immediately after use.

APPLICATION RATE: Approximately 8-9²m per litre depending on the porosity of the substrate.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Application rates are given in good faith and are approximate because of the variation of the surface conditions to which the primer is being applied.

STORAGE: Keep container well sealed in cool, frost free conditions. Unopened and well sealed containers may be kept for up to twelve months.

HEALTH & SAFETY: Good hygiene practices should be followed when applying SEMPATAP 'A' PRIMER. Wear gloves when using and avoid eye contact. Do not eat or drink when applying. Keep away from children and animals. Wash hands after use.

Contains a mixture of: 5-chloro-2-methyl-2h-isothiazol-3-one [ec no 247-500-7] and 2-methyl-2h-isothiazol-3-one [ec no 220-239-6]. May produce an allergic reaction.

Consequently, even if you cancel your order shortly after placing it, it is possible that we may be unable to prevent goods you have ordered being despatched to you and you may then need to return them to us at your cost.

When you order your Goods, we will wherever possible, give you an indication of the day of delivery, normally 2-5 working days after confirming acceptance of your order.

Deliveries will be made by post/a carrier instructed by us to the address stipulated in your order. You must ensure that someone is present to accept delivery.

While a delivery date will be prearranged with you, please remember that it is generally not possible to contact the delivery driver once he has left the depot. Otherwise a re-delivery charge will be incurred.

Goods returned

Our most important task is to ensure your absolute satisfaction. We will always strive to reach that target. However, we acknowledge that mistakes are made occasionally. This paragraph covers that possibility. If you are not wholly satisfied with the product, please tell us at the earliest opportunity:

  • Exactly what the fault is
  • The date, if relevant, when the fault became apparent
  • When and how you discovered the fault
  • How the fault affected your use of the Goods

To do this, it is essential that you follow the instructions below. These provisions apply in the event that you return Goods to us because you say they are faulty:

You must tell us by email message to (info@mgcltd.co.uk) or by letter to our land address at the top of this page you that you would like to return Goods, specifying exactly what Goods and when purchased, giving full details of the defect or other reason for return. We will then issue a returns note. If you send Goods to us without a returns note, we may not be able to identify sufficient details to enable us to attend to your complaint.

The Goods must be returned to us as soon as any defect is discovered.

So far as possible, Goods should be returned:

  • With both Goods and all packaging, as far as possible, in their original condition
  • Securely wrapped
  • Including our delivery slip
  • At your risk and cost.
