BIOCHECK SP is suitable for use in all environments - coastal, industrial, town, suburban and rural. The applied finish has good opacity and adhesion and forms a tough, resilient, weatherproof coating which will remain clean for many years, discouraging dirt retention. The use of BIOCHECK SP substantially reduces on-going  redecoration costs.

CONDITIONS RELATING TO USE:

BIOCHECK SP is a fungicidal exterior paint for amateur and professional use against  algae and lichen on most exter wall surfaces.

Application Method: Brush, roller or spray.                                                                    

Restrictions for use: For use only as an exterior masonry fungicidal paint.

RISK MITIGATION PRECAUTIONARY PHRASES:

Wear suitable protective clothing, suitable gloves and suitable respiratory equipment when spraying.  Do not contaminate foodstuffs, eating utensils or food contact surfaces. This    material and its container must be disposed of in a safe way. Unprotected persons and   animals should be kept away from treated areas for 48 hours and until surfaces are dry. For indoor use only. Do not use near drains, prevent any surface run-off from entering drains. This product contains substances which are known to be harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Do not contaminate ground, waterbodies or watercourses with chemicals  or used container.

  • Wash any contamination from skin or eyes immediately.
  • Wash hands and exposed skin before meals and after use.
  • Keep only in the original container.
  • Keep container tightly closed.
  • Keep in a safe place.

ADDITIONAL RISK MITIGATION PRECAUTIONARY PHRASES FOR    PROFESSIONAL OPERATORS:

The (COSHH) Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 may apply to the use of this product at work.  Engineering control of operator exposure must be used where reasonably practicable in addition to the following items of personal protective equipment, wear suitable gloves and suitable protective clothing.  Avoid excessive contamination of coveralls and launder regularly.  However, engineering controls may replace personal protective equipment if a COSHH assessment shows they provide an equal or higher standard of protection.

Application Rate:  Apply 2 coats at 1 litre of product per 8 – 10 square metres of surface per coat depending on porosity and texture of surface.

Storage:  Store between 5ºC – 25ºC.  When not in use, cans must be kept sealed and protected from frost.

Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Avoid release to the environment. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local/regional/national/international  regulations.

Delivery

We will aim to process your order for despatch to you between 1-5 working days of confirming acceptance of your order. Consequently, even if you cancel your order shortly after placing it, it is possible that we may be unable to prevent goods you have ordered being despatched to you and you may then need to return them to us at your cost.

When you order your Goods, we will wherever possible, give you an indication of the day of delivery, normally 2-5 working days after confirming acceptance of your order.

Deliveries will be made by post/a carrier instructed by us to the address stipulated in your order. You must ensure that someone is present to accept delivery.

While a delivery date will be prearranged with you, please remember that it is generally not possible to contact the delivery driver once he has left the depot. As a signature is required on delivery, if you will not be at home to take the delivery, a signed note instructing the driver where to leave the goods is acceptable. Otherwise a re-delivery charge will be incurred.

 

Cancellation of Order

If you bought the Goods as a Consumer, you may cancel your order at any time before we despatch your order or before the expiry of 7 working days from the date you receive your order, not including the day you received it.

As required by the Distance Selling Regulations, details of our after-sales service and guarantees, if any, are given on our website.

If you cancel before we have sent the Goods, we will refund to you the price of the Goods and the cost of delivery, if any.

 

Goods returned

Our most important task is to ensure your absolute satisfaction. We will always strive to reach that target. However, we acknowledge that mistakes are made occasionally. This paragraph covers that possibility. If you are not wholly satisfied with the product, please tell us at the earliest opportunity:

  • Exactly what the fault is
  • The date, if relevant, when the fault became apparent
  • When and how you discovered the fault
  • How the fault affected your use of the Goods

To do this, it is essential that you follow the instructions below. These provisions apply in the event that you return Goods to us because you say they are faulty:

You must tell us by email message to (info@mgcltd.co.uk) or by letter to our land address at the top of this page you that you would like to return Goods, specifying exactly what Goods and when purchased, giving full details of the defect or other reason for return. We will then issue a returns note. If you send Goods to us without a returns note, we may not be able to identify sufficient details to enable us to attend to your complaint.

The Goods must be returned to us as soon as any defect is discovered.

So far as possible, Goods should be returned:

  • With both Goods and all packaging, as far as possible, in their original condition
  • Securely wrapped
  • Including our delivery slip
  • At your risk and cost.
