HALOSTAIN ....

.... Is a decorative and protective finish for exterior rough sawn timber such as Fencing, Garden Sheds and Cladding. It is resistant to moss, lichen and algae growth, easy to use, with no fire hazard and can be readily applied over old creosoted timbers, giving them new life.

DESCRIPTION

Composition: HALOSTAIN is a water based concentrate liquid, requiring only the addition of water.
Appearance: Low odour, aqueous solution available in a range of natural colours.
Performance: HALOSTAIN is a deep penetrating stain which provides water shedding and resistance to decay, algae and natural greying. HALOSTAIN provides a quick drying, easy to maintain decorative finish, with lasting colour and a life expectancy of up to 5 years.
Areas of use: Suitable for use on all above ground timbers.
New and old fencing timbers and panels.
Old creosoted timbers.
New and old sheds.
Exterior cladding, fascias, panelling and many more rough sawn timber features requiring stain.
Note: HALOSTAIN should NOT be used on below ground timbers.
Availability: Supplied in concentrate form in 5 litre containers in five colours - Golden Cedar - Deep Chestnut - Green - Teak - Black.
Storage: Store in frost free conditions and keep airtight.
Coverage: At dilution rate of 1 part HALOSTAIN to 2 parts water, HALOSTAIN will Cover 5 to 12 square metres per litre for first coat and 12 to 20 square metres per litre for second coat. Coverages dependent on coarseness and porosity of timber.
Plants & Animals: HALOSTAIN can be used in and around greenhouses and animal housing. Plants and animals may be re-introduced when coating is dry.
Cleaning: Clean equipment in water.
Shelf Life: 18 months in an unopened container.
Drying Time: 1·3 hours depending on conditions.
