| Composition: |
Component 1. A white polymer base liquid.
Component 2. A special blend of cements/aggregates/admixtures and accelerators. |
| Appearance: |
White liquid, grey powder, concrete grey finish. |
| Performance: |
Produces high bond strength, abrasion resistant, repair mortar for damaged concrete, with greatly reduced water and carbon dioxide permeability and improved oil and chemical resistance. Excellent freeze/thaw capability. |
| Usage Rate: |
2.1 kg per m2 per mm thickness. |
| Coverage: |
As per literature. |
| Availability: |
Supplied in 10kg pack of two components. |
| Storage: |
Keep in dry and frost free conditions. |
| Shelf Life: |
6 months in unopened container. |
AREAS OF USE
- Fast repairs to concrete and mortar above and below ground, up to 20mm thickness per layer.
- Floor, step and walkway repairs.
- Filler and repair for voids and honeycomb.

HALOCRETE BOND LINK .....
.... Is a two component, polymer enhanced cementitious adhesive and repair mortar. Its main function is to act as a priming coat for HALOCRETE STANDARD and HALOCRETE HIGH BUILD. On curing, it produces a waterproof, high strength, keying mortar with tenacious bonding characteristics far in advance of conventional sand-cement.
DESCRIPTION
| Composition: |
Component 1. A white polymer base liquid.
Component 2. A special blend of cement/aggregate/admixtures and accelerators. |
| Appearance: |
White liquid, grey powder, concrete grey finish. |
| Performance: |
Produces high bond strength slurry/mortar repair adhesive for damaged concrete, with greatly reduced water and carbon dioxide permeability and improved oil and chemical resistance. Excellent freeze/thaw capability. |
| Usage Rate: |
2kg per m2 per mm thickness. |
| Availability: |
Supplied in 10kg pack of two components. |
| Storage: |
Keep in dry and frost free condition. |
| Shelf Life: |
6 months in unopened container. |

FINISHING
HALOCRETE repairs and surrounding surfaces can be brought to a more uniform overall finish with HALOCRETE BOND LINK, in preparation for the subsequent BIOCHECK external decorative coating. If a decorative coating is applied without prior use of a smoothing/levelling coat of HALOCRETE BOND LINK, patch repairs may be highlighted resulting in an aesthetically unacceptable finished appearance, (particularly important in circumstances of cross light).
DECORATION
When repairs have been completed using the HALOCRETE SYSTEM, re-decoration should be carried out using BIOCHECK external decorative coatings. BIOCHECK is a water based system, which allows the structure to breathe and has been independently tested for carbonation resistance by Taylor Woodrow Laboratories. The coating gives 14 times the required protection -see BIOCHECK S.P. literature.
