BIOSHIELD

.....Is a ready-mixed, resin based, waterborne decorative and protective coating for exterior masonry. It is designed specially for Local Authority and Housing Association properties, to provide a five year life in compliance with standard cyclical external painting programmes. The coating is extremely durable and will not flake, crack or peel when correctly applied to a suitable substrate.

DESCRIPTION

Composition: BIOSHIELD is a smooth, water-based coating based on selected pigments, dispersed in tough wearing liquid synthetic resins.
Appearance: Smooth coating, available in choice of colours.
Performance: Provides a tough durable coating designed to offer long life and minimal surface preparation in future cyclical decorative maintenance programmes.
Areas of use: Suitable for all environmental conditions, coastal, industrial, town, country and suburban.
Suitable substrates: Sand - lime - cement renderings Roughcast, Pebbledash,* 'Tyrolean' and Alpine finish render, Concrete, Concrete Bricks and Blocks, Paint (alkyd and emulsion), Cement Paint (BIOCEM C. P.), Bricks (excluding Commons), exterior quality composition and cement boards and MGC BIOCHECK 2507 heavy textured coating.
One coat of BIOCEM C.P. followed by one coat of BIOSHIELD is an economical dual coat system for 'first time' coating of rough textured and Tyrolean renderings
Availability: Supplied in 5 litre containers.
Colours: WHlTE and colours:- Magnolia, Cream, Parchment, Ivory, Terracotta, Seagull, Maltese Stone, Peanut Butter, Dewdrop and Summer Blue.
Storage: Protect from frost during application, transit and storage. Keep container airtight.
Coverage: Dependent upon substrate profile and suction, typically:-
Rendering, concrete and brickwork: 5 to 5.5m2 per litre per coat.
Textured renderings: 3 to 3.5m2 per litre per coat
