BIOCEM C.P.......

.... Is a cementitious paint used as a base coat to provide a solid foundation prior to the application of BIOCHECK S.P. masonry paint. BIOCEM C.P. re-introduces the strengthening and binding cement content thereby rejuvenating weathered and aged substrate. It provides an economical answer to the decorating of poor surfaces and, combined with BIOCHECK S.P. or BIOCHECK ALLWEATHER, gives long term durability and algae resistance.

DESCRIPTION

Composition: A cement based powder, incorporating graded sands, combined with additives to assist flow and workability.
Appearance: BIOCEM C.P. is supplied as a free flowing pale cream coloured powder.
Performance: Provides a durable, weather resistant base coating as a superior preparation system for unsound surfaces prior to the application of BIOCHECK S.P. or BIOCHECK ALLWEATHER.
Areas of use: BIOCEM C.P. is designed for use on decorated or undecorated surfaces such as Pebbledash - Roughcast - Wetdash - Harling - Tyrolean - Open Textured Concrete Blocks and Bricks.
Coverage: Variable and dependent on the substrate texture. As a guide on medium grade Pebbledash 1kg per 1-2m2 (25-50m2 per 25kg drum).
Availability & Colour: Supplied in 25kg drums.
Pale cream ONLY.
Application & Storage: BIOCEM C.P. should be applied by MGC banister brush, pebbledash brush or suitable roller. The product must not be applied in wet or frosty weather. Protect from frost and rain until cured and dry. Do not apply at temperatures of 5 Degrees Centigrade and dropping. Store in dry conditions in unopened containers.
Drying Time: Under average UK temperatures, dry and re-coatable after 48-72 hours. In poor weather conditions drying time will be extended. In rapid drying conditions, e.g. warm and windy weather, it may be necessary to CURE the applied BIOCEM C.P. by dampening it with clean cold water during the drying and curing period. Curing may take place as late as 12 to 36 hours after application, dampening should be at regular intervals, as required.
Health & Safety: Protect eyes and skin when handling the product. Use 'gauging' pots for measuring. Eye contamination should receive copious amounts of clean cold water - seek medical advice.
