BIOCHECK A.C.C. - ANTI-CONDENSATION COATING is an attractive, white water based, decorative coating to control condensation on cold surfaces. For use on ceilings, walls and window areas to alleviate the unsightly problem of water droplets arising from excessive condensation.
DESCRIPTION
| Composition: |
Water based, highly viscous acrylic compound with dispersed pigments and fillers, incorporating biocides for protection against mould growth. |
| Appearance: |
BIOCHECK A.C.C. provides an attractive light textured surface. It can also be patterned, depending on method of application. |
| Performance: |
BIOCHECK A.C.C. forms a thermal barrier which extends the time up to dew point, thereby reducing the normal condensing period. However, if during periods of high humidity condensation forms on the coating, it will be absorbed and controlled by the coating until conditions change to allow evaporation. By texturing a given surface with BIOCHECK A.C.C., the area made available for absorption is increased up to ten fold. |
| Absorption Capacity: |
For a 1mm thick layer, up to 0.5 litres/m2 |
| Coverage: |
1m2 per kg to achieve an overall average thickness of 1.5mm. Do not exceed stated coverage. |
| Availability & Colour: |
Supplied in 10kg buckets. White only. |
| Application & Storage: |
BIOCHECK A.C.C. can be applied by texturing roller or brush to most internal masonry and building surfaces. It must not be applied to wet surfaces or when temperatures are below 5 degrees centigrade. Drying time is up to 48 hours. Protect from frost when in store and keep container air tight. |
| Independent Tests: |
- Ministry of Supply SSF B111 Condensation Control Test
- B.R.E. tested for resistance to mould growth.
- Conforms to Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame, BS476 Part 7, Fire Propagation BS476 Part 5.
|
| Areas of use: |
Almost any surface prone to condensation. |
